If this game was marketed as a single player game I would say it was worth the 12 dollars but until Crackshell Games either lists this game as single player or makes multiplayer actually accessible I cannot recommend this game to anyone looking to play with friends. talkin mainly about the ones on the book maze floor. Countless disconnects on the first floor of the dungeon and no comment nor fix from the developer in years since its release feels like a slap in the face to fans who genuinely enjoy the content. Solved with a bunch of friends starting Saturday night and going till 3am. The frustrating part however is that while it claims multiplayer compatibility it just doesn't work. Solver for the puzzle part of Heroes of Hammerwatch, which actually turns out to be the lights out problem. Enemies the player ignites take 4 magical damage, however no enemy is immune except for Red Wisps. Burn damage deals 5 magical damage to the player, and Wisps, the Watcher's orbs, and all traps on Act 5 deal 10 magical damage. I love the challenging aspect of it and the gameplay itself is genius in its approach. Burn damage is applied by many traps throughout the game and various late game enemies. Heroes of Hammerwatch will be a real challenge, and even if you beat it, the challenge never ends. ![]() First and foremost, this is a fantastic SOLO player game. Encounter endless hordes of enemies, traps, puzzles, secrets and lots of loot, as you battle your way through procedurally generated levels to reach the top of the Forsaken Spire.A rogue-lite with a lot of persistent progression. ![]()
